The First Step into Socks
Our journey began when Kerim Gürbüz entered the sock industry with toe-closing machines and a strong focus on craftsmanship.
1980
Establishment of Gürşah Socks
Gürşah Socks was established with a partnership structure in which Kerim Gürbüz held 50% ownership, marking an important step toward larger-scale sock production.
1990
Transition to Computerized Production
With the investment in Lonati computerized sock knitting machines, production capabilities became more advanced and technology-driven.
1995
Founding of Onay Socks
Ayşe Gürbüz and Kerim Gürbüz founded Onay Socks, building the company on quality, reliability, and long-term customer relationships.
2003
A New Generation in Management
New generation joined the business, bringing a more dynamic, innovative, and export-oriented vision to the company.
2013
Relocation to Our Modern Factory
Onay Socks moved to its new factory in Istanbul, with 3,000 m² of closed production area and improved infrastructure for larger-scale manufacturing.
2023
Investment in Special Production Capabilities
With new double-cylinder machines and advanced knitting technologies, Onay Socks strengthened its ability to produce more technical and distinctive socks.
